3. Educational and Career-Development Disclaimer

STEELE provides educational information, career-development resources, professional guidance, and tools intended to help members make more informed decisions.

STEELE does not guarantee employment, interviews, promotions, salary increases, admission to academic programs, scholarships, fellowships, internships, grants, certification eligibility, exam passage, specific career outcomes, or specific earnings.

Results depend on factors outside STEELE’s control, including qualifications, experience, education, skills, effort, labor-market conditions, employer decisions, location, interviewing performance, and other circumstances.

4. Career Assessments and Pathway Recommendations

STEELE assessments, including Find My Path and other pathway tools, are intended for career exploration and educational purposes. Results are recommendations, not guarantees or professional determinations that a particular career is appropriate for you.

Members remain responsible for evaluating opportunities and making their own career and educational decisions.

5. Job & Opportunity Hub

STEELE may share jobs, internships, fellowships, practicums, research opportunities, academic positions, government opportunities, scholarships, grants, and other professional opportunities.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, STEELE is not the employer or sponsoring organization for third-party opportunities. Members are responsible for independently verifying deadlines, eligibility, compensation, employment terms, location requirements, sponsoring organizations, and application instructions.

STEELE does not guarantee that an opportunity will remain available or that a member will receive an interview, offer, award, placement, or funding.

6. Certifications and CIC Exam Preparation

STEELE may provide certification information, study materials, practice questions, exam-preparation resources, and CIC-related educational content.

STEELE is an independent career-development platform and is not a certification board unless expressly stated otherwise. Participation in STEELE certification preparation does not guarantee eligibility for or successful completion of any exam.

Members should verify current eligibility requirements, fees, policies, and exam information directly with the applicable credentialing organization.

7. Graduate and Doctoral Education Resources

Information concerning MPH, MS, DrPH, PhD, certificates, academic programs, funding, assistantships, dissertations, practicums, capstones, and related decisions is provided for general educational and career-planning purposes.

STEELE does not guarantee admission, funding, graduation, academic performance, dissertation approval, employment, or other academic outcomes. Members should independently verify accreditation, admissions requirements, tuition, financial aid, and institutional policies.

8. Membership and 7-Day Free Trial

Eligible new members may receive a 7-day free trial. Unless canceled before the trial ends, the membership will automatically convert to a paid membership at the price displayed during checkout.

The current standard monthly membership offer may be displayed as $39 per month after the 7-day free trial, subject to the terms shown at checkout.

By starting a trial, you authorize the payment method provided at checkout to be charged automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel before the applicable billing date.

Important: The checkout page controls the final price, billing frequency, trial eligibility, renewal terms, and any promotional terms that apply to your purchase.

9. Cancellation

Members may cancel an active recurring membership through the cancellation method provided by STEELE or its platform/payment provider. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not ordinarily reverse charges already processed.

Members are responsible for canceling before the next billing date if they do not wish to be charged again.

10. Refund Policy

Except where otherwise expressly stated at checkout or required by applicable law, membership payments and digital purchases are non-refundable once charged.

The 7-day free trial is intended to allow eligible prospective members to evaluate the platform before the first paid membership charge. Failure to cancel before the trial or renewal deadline does not automatically create a right to a refund.

Separate coaching programs, courses, workshops, events, or premium services may have different refund and cancellation terms presented at checkout.

11. Mentorship, Coaching, and Premium Services

STEELE may offer one-on-one mentorship, multi-session coaching, résumé and LinkedIn reviews, mock interviews, salary-negotiation support, career-transition strategy, graduate planning, and other premium services.

Coaching and mentorship provide professional guidance and strategy but do not guarantee employment, interviews, admission, promotions, salary increases, certifications, contracts, or other outcomes.

Scheduling, rescheduling, cancellation, no-show, and refund requirements may be governed by additional terms presented when the service is purchased.

12. Templates, Downloads, and Member Resources

Members may receive access to STEELE-created worksheets, trackers, scripts, checklists, templates, guides, résumé resources, planning materials, and other downloads.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, these materials are licensed for personal, individual use only. Purchasing or downloading a resource does not transfer ownership or intellectual-property rights.

13. Intellectual Property

The STEELE name, STEELE Method, branding, website content, pathway structures, original assessments, educational materials, graphics, templates, downloads, videos, presentations, frameworks, and practice materials are owned by or licensed to STEELE and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may not sell, sublicense, distribute, reproduce for commercial purposes, upload to another membership platform, share with non-members, or otherwise commercially exploit STEELE materials without written permission.

14. Account Security and Sharing

Membership accounts are intended for the registered member only. Members may not share credentials, resell access, distribute protected member content, allow another person to use their account, or attempt to bypass access restrictions.

STEELE may suspend or terminate access when account sharing, unauthorized distribution, fraud, abuse, or other violations are reasonably suspected.

15. Community Standards

Members participating in STEELE community spaces agree to communicate professionally and respectfully. STEELE may remove content or restrict access for harassment, threats, discrimination, spam, solicitation, impersonation, fraud, unauthorized advertising, disclosure of private information, intellectual-property violations, or behavior that materially disrupts the community.

16. Technology and Platform Availability

STEELE relies on third-party technology and service providers. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Maintenance, outages, technical failures, internet problems, platform changes, or circumstances outside STEELE’s reasonable control may affect availability.

17. Third-Party Links and Resources

STEELE may link to employers, universities, government agencies, credentialing organizations, job boards, professional associations, software platforms, and other third-party resources.

Providing a link does not necessarily constitute endorsement. STEELE does not control and is not responsible for third-party websites, policies, content, pricing, availability, security, employment practices, or services.

18. No Legal, Financial, Medical, or Other Regulated Professional Advice

STEELE content is intended for career development and educational purposes. Nothing on the platform should be interpreted as individualized legal, tax, investment, financial, medical, mental-health, or other regulated professional advice.

19. Member Responsibility

You are responsible for how you use STEELE information and resources, including reviewing job applications, résumés, academic submissions, professional communications, salary decisions, certification requirements, and other materials before relying on or submitting them.

STEELE provides tools and guidance; you remain responsible for your professional decisions and representations.

20. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, STEELE Public Health Collective LLC and its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, and representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to use of the platform or services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

21. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless STEELE Public Health Collective LLC and its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, and representatives from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and reasonable expenses arising from your misuse of STEELE, violation of these Terms, infringement of another person’s rights, or unlawful conduct.

22. Suspension or Termination

STEELE may suspend or terminate access when a member materially violates these Terms, misuses the platform, engages in fraudulent activity, distributes protected content without authorization, shares account credentials, abuses other members or staff, or threatens the security or integrity of the platform.

Termination for violation of these Terms does not automatically create a right to a refund.

23. Changes to STEELE

STEELE is an evolving platform. We may add, modify, reorganize, replace, or discontinue features, resources, courses, pathways, tools, community functionality, or other content.

24. Changes to These Terms

STEELE may update these Terms periodically. Material changes may be communicated through the website, member platform, email, or another reasonable method. Updated Terms become effective on the date stated in the revised version, subject to applicable law.

25. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

Because STEELE Public Health Collective LLC is being established in New York, this provision should be reviewed by New York counsel before publication.

A final version may provide that these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Your attorney should determine the appropriate venue and whether disputes should be handled through courts, mediation, arbitration, or another process.

26. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the extent permitted by law.

27. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with any applicable checkout terms, privacy policy, service-specific terms, and policies expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the agreement governing your use of STEELE.

If separate written terms are provided for a particular coaching program, event, course, or premium service, those additional terms also apply to that purchase.
